          FLUTES
My flutes are still a work in progress.  I really like these instruments and don't know why I'd ever switch, but like clarinet, my concept of tone and tone production is still evolving, so it's possible that one day these horns won't suit my needs any longer.  But hey, I'm really happy with them right now!

MORE DETAILS AND PICS COMING SOON ...

          C Soprano
Olds (yes, the trombone people "Olds") model NL75S flute, c. 1977.  Solid silver body and headjoint, gold plated riser, C-foot, offset G, closed holes.  This flute is very responsive and forgiving if you don't have the embouchure quite right.  It works very well in the pit when you have about two seconds to drop your clarinet and start playing high notes.

          Alto
Jupiter diMedici 1217ES, c. 2011.  Silver head, plated body and keys.  I just bought this June 2011, so I'm learning to play it right now, but it's really fun to play!

          Piccolo
Emerson EP6, manufacture date unknown.  Grenadilla wood with silver plated hardware.  An ebay find that looks like new.  Plays great and the price was right!
